The Vulnerables Life And Hope Support Project

$35/month – Provides all education costs as well as food and clothing
In the Volta region of Ghana, only about 1/3 of the thousands of children who have lost one or both parents receive any form of assistance aimed at ensuring sound development of the child.
This project is run by the Life Development Foundation, a local charity in the Volta region of Ghana. The project is targeted to benefit vulnerable children who have lost one or both parent to HIV/AIDS. It also includes children of insane/terminally ill parentage, unemployed and unskilled young single mothers, and unmarried men with children or children of very poor parents with more than five (5) children.

Orphan Student Education Fund

$15/month = 1 child stays in School
With over 3 million orphans in Ethiopia, thousands of families take in nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren. The financial pressure on these extended families often leads to children going to work instead of going to school.
Contributions support the work of Adoption Advocates International in Nazret, Ethiopia, a town about two hours south of Addis Ababa. HIV/AIDS is a very serious problem in this area and the school administration has identified 1000 orphans who are at risk of dropping out of school without sponsorship assistance.
Contributions to this project pay for school fees, school uniforms as well as basic necessities (food, clothing and shoes).
