God’s Own Country is more than a movie; it’s a platform for change. Real change is built through self and community empowerment. These types of empowerment are necessary for the overall enjoyment of life for the majority of people in the world.

While God’s Own Country will be donating 10% of profits from online movie sales your help is needed.

Please join me in supporting these educational empowerment programs across Africa through a financial contribution.

Thank you,
Femi Agbayewa, Director God’s Own Country

Keeping Children in School across Africa

Donations made through Direct Change are distributed to community based African run projects (see current list).

Across sub-Saharan Africa, the costs of getting a child through primary school often represents more than one-quarter of the annual income of a poor household. In many African countries going to school often still requires school fees (particularly for secondary education) and school uniforms. Combined with the cost of students required to bringing their own supplies these costs create low enrollment rates and high drop out rates.

$15 -$30/month = Keeps 1 child in school for a year
(Actual costs vary based on school fees requirements)
