$35/month Provides all education costs as well as food and clothing
In the Volta region of Ghana, only about 1/3 of the thousands of children who have lost one or both parents receive any form of assistance aimed at ensuring sound development of the child.I think the fundraising that the ppo does within the school is great but I have a hard time to constsntly raise money for our children for new toys or trips that we can help pay but not entirely. My mission in this project is to challenge all schools in the school board to a competition of who can raise the most within the school year and each school donate a certain percentage of their monies to this project.We can somehow work with our teachers to teach the children about the causes and what we are trying to do.
This project is run by the Life Development Foundation, a local charity in the Volta region of Ghana. The project is targeted to benefit vulnerable children who have lost one or both parent to HIV/AIDS. It also includes children of insane/terminally ill parentage, unemployed and unskilled young single mothers, and unmarried men with children or children of very poor parents with more than five (5) children.
