We are a group of 9 college students at Northern Arizona University who feel so appreciative for the opportunity to attend college, have access to health care facilities, food and clean water and a relative sence of safetly and well being. We wish for everyone everywhere. Unfortunatly, the reality is, that very few people are as privilaged as we are to have these opportunities. We demand change. Don’t STAND by, Stand Up!... and demand that everyone everywhere is granted these rights !
Stand:nau will be having it’s second event Friday April 6th. Artshow/ sale in flagstaff. 100% of the profits go to John Dau’s Duk lost Boys clinic, The AZ lost Boys center and the Genocide Intervention Network .
Please e-mail us for more information on the event !

The Duk Lost Boys Clinic

Goal: $431,800 – 1st Year Medical Costs
While peace has arrived in southern Sudan, the collapse of the social infrastructure during the long civil war has left most of the region with virtually no health services.
John Dau, the Director of the Direct Change Sudan Project, is from Duk County and started this project with the American Care for Sudan Foundation.
Currently, there is no medical doctor for 75 miles. The clinic whose staff will include a full time doctor, will serve the people of Duk County and the surrounding areas.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters around the world, we have completed our fundraising for building the clinic in Duk Payuel Sudan. Now we need to hire medical staff and send supplies; will you please help us raise the money to make this possible?.
